What is the difference between a "Signature Workshop" and a "DIY Kit"?

A "Signature Workshop" is an in-person experience at one of our partnered locations. I will

provide step by step instructions and demonstrations of featured designs, as well as answering

any cookie/cake related questions you may have. These workshops typically lasts 1.5-2hrs

depending on the design and size of class.

A "DIY Kit" is an At-Home Experience. All materials are provided along with detailed printed

instructions. If the design requires it, a step-by-step YouTube video tutorial is also provided!
 

I've never decorated cookies or cake before, Is this something I could actually do?

YES! This Workshop is perfect for beginners and the not so crafty alike. Our Professional-level instructors will take you step-by-step through the decorating process while still allowing you some fun and creative freedoms! You will definitely surprise yourself with what you can achieve in just one workshop!

I've done this a few times, Am I going to learn anything?
YES! Unique to this workshop is it's ability can be leveled up to your abilities and experience. All the materials used are the same as what is used in a professional setting, and our instructors can definitely answer your advanced questions and provide tips and tricks to advance your skill set.
 
Do I have to be 21 years old to attend?
It depends on the location. Workshops held at DIY Studios are open to all ages while

workshops held at a brewery/winery/bar require participants to be 21+ .

Do you offer Private Classes?
Absolutely! We can create a customized decorating experience especially for your event (Bridal Showers, Birthday Parties, Bachelorette Parties, Team Building, Corporate Events) There is a minimum of 10 people per private class.

Can I order a set of decorated Custom Cookies?

No. At this time, We do not accept any orders for baked goods. This is not a bakery, it is an

entertainment and educational based experience only.

Do you provide the cocktails for the Decorating Workshops?

No. In order to keep pricing affordable, we do not have a liquor license. All workshops are held at locations that do, and they are able to serve you the complimentary glass of wine or craft beer for the workshop. For all Private Events, the host/hostess will be responsible for  providing all cocktails (which honestly, is much more affordable and allows you the freedom to choose your favorites!)

Can I have a second glass of Wine or Craft Beer at a Workshop?

You absolutely can... but it will not be included with your cookies and cocktails registration.

You are more than welcome to open a separate tab for the evening!

I don't drink alcohol. Are there other non-alcoholic beverage options available?

We totally understand, and respect that. Each of our partnered locations also has non-alcoholic options that can be substituted. The same goes for Private Workshops as well. Please feel free to offer your guests a fun mocktail, coffees, hot chocolate etc. in place of cocktails.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

Because these workshops and kits are pre-ordered and prepared in advance for each client, refunds are very difficult to offer. We understand life happens, so If cancellations are made with more than 3 days (72 hours) notice of the event/pick-up date, a full refund may be issued. With less than 3 days (72 hours) notice of event/pick-up date, NO REFUND of any kind will be able to be offered. I hate to be so strict, but so much time, energy, and product is lovingly put into each of these kits during that 3-day window.

& These DIY Kits/Workshop seats are very difficult to re-sell on such last minute notice.
